MUAY THAI FOR INSTRUCTORS
The students will know the detail of history and development of Muay Thai, Thai culture and Thai traditions. Teaching in class will also include techniques (Mae Mai, Look Mai and Koon Muay), the steps how to teach the students to attack and defend. Also you have to know about planning for training and competition programs, body functions, first aids and Thai Massage.

Muay Thai programs for instructors are designed for those who wish to become Muay Thai Instructors. Three levels of proficiency are offered.

  • TRAINEE INSTRUCTOR
  • QUALIFIED INTRUCTOR
  • SENIOR INSTRUCTOR
Minimum training: 60 hours (50 hours training – 10 hours studies) / 1 month minimum to 3 months maximum. We have 3 sessions class a day, this course you can choose to train 2-3 sessions a day (any session, any day).

Day is divided into three periods
Morning: 08.00 – 10.00
Early afternoon: 14.00 – 16.00
Late afternoon: 16.30 – 18.30

Qualifications:
- For both men and women,
- Over 20 years old (exception on passing Muay Thai Level 3 – Professional Skills),
- At least 5 times Professional Muay Thai fights experience,
- Healthy.

Objectives:

Is it expected that the students will be able to:

- Gain knowledge of Thai culture and customs,
- Learn and understand right attitude upon Muay Thai,
- Gain knowledge of teaching philosophy and psychology,
- Gain knowledge of teaching techniques, procedures and class management,
- Gain knowledge of Muay Thai skill and teaching techniques.

Remark:

Muay Thai Fights profiles, such as DVD, VCD, pictures …, are required on the register day, you must show your Muay Thai skills to our masters then they will decide what level you can do.
If you never had any Muay Thai Professional fights or less than 5, we will not allow you to do our instructor course.

After training, you should use the fitness facilities to warm down for 15-20 minutes.

Examination: Instructor 1 (Trainee Instructor Course)

After you finish all lessons of our Muay Thai curriculum, our masters will give you appointment for the day of your exam. Your skills will be evaluating by 3 masters who will give you scores. Our masters will give you scores and grade (A, B, C, D, E and F) on paper test hen we will summary your scores and average. If you get over 75%, you will pass our exam and obtain Muay Thai certificate and Muay Thai transcript recognized by Ministry of Education, World Muay Thai Council and Lanta Muay Thai Academy. In case you fail the exam, you can train more in what you fail and you will have one more chance to do re-exam without any charge of fee. If you fail again, you will have to register the course again.

- Passed Instructor Course Level 2 (Qualified Instructor),
- Healthy.

- Gain knowledge, understanding and right attitude upon Muay Thai,
- Gain knowledge of advanced Muay Thai skill,
- Gain knowledge of teaching philosophy and psychology for boxers and training,
- Gain knowledge and ability of Muay Thai skills and its mastery,
- Gain knowledge of tests and evaluation for Muay Thai,
- Gain knowledge in planning for training and competition programs,
- Gain knowledge of body functions and first aids.
